Quad Packaging is seeking a Flexo Press Operator for our Franklin, WI location.
We have an opening on the third shift; hours are Sunday-Thursday 10pm-5am. This is your opportunity to enhance your skills working with industry-leading packaging equipment. Employees may be paid an hourly rate of $20.00 - $31.00 / hour
, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.

Our 250,000 sq. ft. Franklin facility is a state-of-the-art packaging plant offering sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexo, die cutting, and custom folding/gluing, supported by advanced inline quality control systems. The facility fosters a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.

Shift option: You will work 10 pm – 5 am, Sunday-Thursday. If hired, you may not train on the shift you were hired for.

• Prepare for Operation – Access job ticket information and set up a flexographic printing press. Ensure the machine is stocked with the correct raw materials for each job.
• Operate Flexographic Press – Operate assigned equipment within safety standards and SOPs to produce printed products per customer specifications. Monitor ink, paper, and other material levels; make routine adjustments to maintain print and cut quality and address issues promptly.
• Perform Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Observe machine operations and perform basic maintenance and advanced troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform Quality Checks – Complete quality checklists and documentation. Conduct visual quality checks throughout the printing process and flag defective products. Cut samples and compare to standards to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform Line Clearance – Clean the work area and remove all products, trash, and supplies associated with a completed order.

• Preferred experience with Mark Andy P7 or Webtron Flexo (other models will be considered).
• Knowledge of setup and operation of a flexographic printing press.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and determine solutions.
• Ability to match and detect differences in color shades; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand and communicate routine factual information; complete routine forms.
• Ability to organize schedules and tasks for efficient workflow.
• Ability to perform tasks with some supervision; problem-solving may involve a supervisor when needed.
• Ability to count accurately and use measuring equipment to determine substrate sizes.
• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts with overtime and holidays as required (OT paid over 40 hours per week) and ability to work overtime if required.

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Environment is noisy and fast-paced with forklifts and machinery in operation.
