$16 - $20 p/hr

• Reads electrical schematics and installs components such as relays, contractors, PLCs and other types of controllers on electrical panels.
• La ys out the din rail, Panduit and components and wires them to wiring specifications.
• Installs wire ways, cable trays, conduit, and seal tight to contain wire runs on machines.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations on the machine for mounting control units.
• Attaches breakers, relays, contractors, transformers, PLCs, MLCs, motor drives, power supplies, safety circuits, servo motors, HMIs, bus systems, and fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
• Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and sub-assemblies.
• Able to test circuits with a variety of electrical testing and gauging devices.
• Has the ability to solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends.
• Assists in troubleshooting and testing of electrical assemblies and circuits.
• Works through problems on machines by communicating with Electrical Assembler II, leads, supervisor or engineers.
• Records labor hours correctly using the scan system with Finesse our Enterprise Resource Planning system.
