About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands‑on Production Supervisor who thrives in the heart of the action. This role is on the floor, not behind a desk, guiding teams, driving workflow, solving problems in real time, and ensuring production goals are met with excellence. You’ll be the go‑to resource for production employees, a champion for safety and quality, and a key partner in continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys being deeply involved in operations, collaborating with others, and making a direct impact on daily production performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all production and area goals within department.
  • Ensure a continuous workflow and meet required delivery dates.
  • Interpret specifications and job orders to workers and assign duties.
  • Delegate work to employees, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety rules.
  • Develop, review, and modify work instructions and other controlled documents.
  • Coordinate employee training and cross‑training.
  • Schedule and assign personnel to accomplish work results and efficiently meet production goals by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and resolving problems.
  • Ensure quality of all garments produced.
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues in an effective and timely manner.
  • Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.
  • Collaborate with LION Corporate and other facilities to meet company objectives.
  • Motivate team members by initiating and creating strategies to achieve work goals and improve efficiency.
  • Coach, counsel, and collaborate with team members regarding their performance.
  • Exemplify LION Core Beliefs.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain time and production records.
  • Know area procedures, processes, and assembly processes in your area.
  • Other duties as needed.

Education & Experience

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory, managerial, or leadership role preferred.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending as needed.
  • Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.
  • Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, if needed.

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with associates at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
