$17 - $19 + $1 shift premium
Under general supervision the Indoor Manufacturing Painter will assist in painting the campus facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Basic interpretation of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine prepping requirements.
- Inspects parts/structures after paint to ensure they meet all quality standards.
- Verifies conformance of finished work pieces to specifications.
- Performs basic filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the work piece being worked; including plugging holes and masking operations.
- Makes sure that workstation is clean, organized and free of hazardous materials and FOD.
- Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience or automotive/aircraft refinishing experience a plus.
- Satisfy Personnel Proficiency Requirements after the required time period.
- Must have a working comprehension of the English language complimented with workplace levels of grammar, composition, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use inspection tools as required.
- ASTM F-, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes.
- Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses.
- Hearing protection, in specific locations.
- Ability to comply with JSA in specific areas.
