Sheeter​/Cutter Operator - Rolltender

Job Overview

Quad is a global marketing experience company located in Franklin, WI, with a 250,000 sq. ft. packaging plant. The Sheeter/Cutter Operator will set up and operate the precision cutter machine to produce cut sheets of paper.

Available shifts: 5 AM–1 PM, 1 PM–9 PM, and 9 PM–5 AM.

• Confirm orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Set up and operate the precision cutter.
• Follow pre-production, make‑ready, and production-run tasks and instructions.
• Cross‑train as assigned.

• Previous sheeter (roll tender) experience preferred.
• Perform work-related functions requiring basic math skills and metric measurement reading.
• Read, speak, and understand basic English.
• Familiarity with machines and tools, including design, usage, benefits, repair, and maintenance.
• Computer proficiency.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of the USA dating system.
• Understand Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Quickly and accurately compare letters, numbers, objects, pictures, and patterns.
• Ability to crawl into tight spaces and reach all areas to set up and monitor rollers.
• Lift 10–15 lb continuously, lift up to 50 lb occasionally; stand long hours (12‑hr shift); use hands and wrists in continuous controlled movements; pass vision and color tests.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

• Machine repair and maintenance experience.
• Raw material inventory management experience.

Competitive starting wage of $17.50–$19.50 per hour, higher for experienced roll tenders. Pay will vary based on education, skills, experience, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include overtime and shift differentials.
