This role involves assembling and preparing production units by safely operating power tools and equipment, including cranes and saws, while following engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include installing structural components, insulation, walls, doors, and subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate power tools and equipment, including drills, impact guns, grinders, saws, rivet guns, and overhead cranes
- Assemble wall panels, structural components, and complete units according to engineering drawings, cut lists, and Bills of Materials
- Perform insulation cutting, installation, and sealing using appropriate tools, jigs, and materials
- Install components such as walls, doors, frames, filters, gaskets, and subassemblies to specification
- Apply sealants (silicone, caulking) to ensure product integrity
- Prepare and clean units for finishing processes including final inspection
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper material handling
- Follow standard operating procedures and collaborate with team leads to meet production goals
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Support quality standards by detailing and finalizing products for inspection and completing assigned tasks as directed by management
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours
- Ability to reach over shoulders/head
- Ability to bend at waist and knees
- Ability to twist at shoulders/waist
- Familiar with tools
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma of GED required.
