Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:45am - 3:15pm

Material Handler Responsibilities- Unload incoming shipments; verify quantities and conditions against purchase orders
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or dollies to transfer materials between docks, warehouse areas, and production zones
- Accurately pick materials for production or customer shipments; pack, crate, label, and stage items securely
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems; perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
- Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety policies
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, procurement, and shipping teams to support seamless operations and resolve issues promptly
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- OSHA forklift certification and safe operation experience
- Familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems
- Ability to lift up to 50–100lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Experience in the electrical or manufacturing sector (e.g. heating elements, appliances) preferred
- Additional certification in pallet jack, crane, or HAZMAT handling preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed is a plus
