Flexo Press Operator – Franklin, WI
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Flexo Press Operator to join our team in Franklin, WI, working the third shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm–5am). This role offers an hourly range of $20.00–$31.00, with overtime and shift differentials possible.
Essential Functions- Prepare for Operation – Access job ticket information, set up a flexographic printing press, and ensure the machine is stocked with the correct raw materials.
- Operate Flexographic Press – Run assigned equipment in compliance with safety standards and SOPs, monitor supplies, make routine adjustments, and maintain print and cut quality.
- Perform Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Observe machine operations, perform basic maintenance, and execute advanced troubleshooting during the shift.
- Perform Quality Checks – Complete quality checklists, conduct visual inspections throughout the process, flag defective product, and compare samples to standards.
- Perform Line Clearance – Clean the assigned area, remove products, trash, boxes, and supplies from completed orders.
- Previous Mark Andy P7 or Webtron Flexo experience preferred (other makes considered).
- Knowledge of flexographic press setup and operation.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical problem‑solving ability and root‑cause determination.
- Color‑matching skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to complete routine forms.
- Ability to organize tasks for efficient workflow.
- Ability to solve problems with supervisor guidance when needed.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to use measuring equipment.
- Physical strength – lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Availability for 8‑hour shifts, overtime, and holidays as required (OT paid over 40 hours). Overtime required.
- Work with moving mechanical parts.
- Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with forklifts and other machinery.
- Risk of electrical shock.
