Folder/Gluer Operator – Second Shift (Franklin, WI)
LocationFranklin, WI, United States
Shift Options- 5 AM – 5 PM (36 hours per week, overtime available)
- 5 PM – 5 AM (36 hours per week, overtime available Monday‑Wednesday or Thursday‑Saturday)
- 9 PM – 5 AM Monday‑Friday (shift premium $2.00)
- 1 PM – 9 PM Monday‑Friday (shift premium $2.00)
- Perform make‑ready functions.
- Activate process, monitor production, and adjust machine during runs to maximize output.
- Perform and arrange for preventative maintenance per schedule.
- Record router information and daily production data such as time spent on tasks and number of items produced.
- Operate and oversee multiple feeder/gluer operations concurrently.
- Occasionally train workers on machine operations and feeding/take‑off functions.
- Cross‑train as assigned.
- Operate powered equipment such as folding and gluing machines, automatic sealing equipment, inserters, tape heads, computers, trash compactor, automatic labelers (EAM), and roller‑conveyor table.
- Preferred experience with Bobst Expert fold 110, Domino 110, Mistral 110, Masterfold 15, or Domino 90 Folder/Gluer (other makes and models considered).
- Ability to perform mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Read, speak, and understand English to interpret instructions, job orders, production sheets, and documents.
- Effective communication of problems and malfunctions to peers and management.
- Familiarity with production and processing, including inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze processes, identify errors, and propose solutions.
- Punctuality and reliability required.
- Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Pay varies based on education, skills, experience, proficiency, shift, and location. Base wage is competitive, with potential to reach $25 or more for experienced folder/gluers. Overtime and shift differentials are available. Qualified candidates living over 100 miles may be eligible for paid relocation.
