Flexo Operator- Inspector

Job Summary

Quad Packaging is seeking a Flexo Press Operator for our Franklin, WI location. The position is a third‑shift role (Sunday–Thursday, 10 pm–5 am) and requires operating flexographic press equipment.

10 pm – 5 am, Sunday through Thursday. Overtime and holidays may be required and are paid. Shift differentials may apply.

• Prepare for operation by reviewing job tickets and setting up the flexographic printing press with appropriate raw materials.
• Operate the press in compliance with safety standards and SOPs, producing printed products that meet customer specifications.
• Monitor supply levels of inks, paper, and other materials, making adjustments to maintain print and cut quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues during the shift.
• Complete quality checklists and perform visual inspections to ensure product meets standards.
• Clear the line at the end of each shift by removing finished products and cleaning the work area.

• Previous experience on a Mark Andy P7 or Webtron flexo press (other brands considered).
• Knowledge of setting up and operating a flexographic printing press.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to compare and identify minor color differences.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions, and complete routine forms.
• Organize tasks and schedule for efficient workflow.
• Proficient with measuring equipment and basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Capable of lifting 10–15 lb continuously, up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Ability to work 8‑hour shifts with required overtime.

• Work involves moving mechanical parts and noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Work with forklifts, heavy machinery, and at risk of electric shock.

• Hourly wage $20.00–$31.00, varying by experience and skill.
• Overtime pay over 40 hours per week; shift differentials may apply.
