About the RoleWe are seeking dedicated CNC Machinists (Levels 1 and 2) to bolster our expanding production team. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a high‑mix, low‑volume job shop environment, where you will manage frequent setups, resolve process hurdles, and utilize sophisticated CNC technology rather than performing repetitive production tasks.
Your ImpactAs a key member of our machining team, you will craft a diverse array of precision components. Success in this role requires expert setup capabilities, the proficiency to refine programs, and the confidence to handle a wide spectrum of materials and part geometries.
Core Responsibilities- Manage Mazak CNC systems, including 2‑axis, 3‑axis, and 5‑axis machinery.
- Execute between 3 and 7 setups daily to ensure the team maintains consistent production flow.
- Utilize Mazatrol conversational programming and G/M code to edit and perfect machining programs.
- Optimize machine performance by adjusting feeds, speeds, and tool offsets to improve overall output efficiency.
- Identify and resolve machining discrepancies to guarantee that all finished parts meet strict quality and dimensional requirements.
- Work with a variety of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, brass, plastics.
- Hourly rates ranging from $23 to $38 plus sign‑on incentives.
- 10% additional pay for 2nd shift operations.
- 15% additional pay for 3rd shift operations.
- Voluntary overtime is frequently offered post‑training, allowing you to boost your earnings on your own terms.
- New team members will undergo an initial training phase on the 1st shift, lasting between 1 and 6 months based on individual development.
- 2nd shift hours are typically 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a 10% premium.
- 3rd shift hours run from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with a 15% premium.
