Role Overview
This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an oncology infusion center, focusing on chemotherapy administration, patient safety, and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and adapt personalized care plans to improve patient outcomes and recovery.
- Monitor patient safety and communicate status changes to the clinical team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure seamless, integrated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately at the bedside.
- Lead discharge planning to support successful patient transitions home.
- Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred:
Chemotherapy certification, 2-3 years RN experience in infusion or oncology, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy, or OCN certification.
