Overview
Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations.quires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
DescriptionPay Rate is $16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Possess aptitude to gain knowledge of products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
- Local food handlers permit may be required.
- English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Stand, walk, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, reach up to 65 inches, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Work EnvironmentRetail store environment with limited travel.
