Position Summary
As a Member Frontline Services associate at Sam's Club, you will provide member service, maintain checkout and entrance/exit areas, process transactions, handle merchandise, ensure safety and security, and support colleague training.
Responsibilities- Provide member service and guidance regarding self‑service technology.
- Maintain the checkout area, including processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Apply safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and assist members with purchasing decisions and merchandise location.
- Arrange and zone merchandise, identify shrink and damages, and uphold a safe shopping environment.
- Assist in securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets, observe potential criminal activity, and record required documentation.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Provide training on member front‑line processes and new technology to associates.
- Implement the Open Door Policy and promote a culture of integrity, belonging, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to meet priorities and deliver results.
- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
