Job Description
We are searching for qualified customer service representatives to handle phone orders and assist customers in person. The role includes operating equipment, preparing product, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and handling cash and monetary change.
Job Requirements- Must be 16 years of age or older.
Job Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication SkillsAbility to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills- Accurately perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and use a calculator as needed.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements quickly.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature, food odors, and cornmeal dust exposure.
- Cramped areas such as walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Standing: Most tasks performed standing.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations on tile, bricks or linoleum.
- Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, unloaded with a hand truck; cases up to 50‑pound weight stacked up to 72 high.
- Carrying: Large cans (~3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb each).
- Pushing: Trays on dollies, up to 24–30 trays requiring up to 7.5 lb force; trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing: Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance.
- Stooping / Bending: Forward bending at the pizza assembly station and front counter; duration ~30–45 s at a time, repeated continuously.
- Crouching / Squatting: Occasionally when stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
- Reaching: Continuous up, down, forward; above 72 in. to control ovens; down to scooping cornmeal; forward when obtaining toppings or cleaning surfaces.
- Hand Tasks: Continuous use of hands; forearm and wrist force during dough shaping; manipulation of pizza peel and rolling cutter; pinching for assembling cardboard boxes.
Team members may progress from associate roles to management and beyond, including positions such as Manager, General Manager, corporate operations, or franchise ownership.
