Job Summary

Position:
Correctional Officer Lieutenant, Department:
Community Reintegration Center (CRC). The Correctional Officer Lieutenant supervises all correctional officer staff on a specified shift. Their objective is to inspect and ensure all areas of the facility meet security, health, and maintenance standards in accordance with federal, state, and local jail codes. Lieutenants complete violation hearings for residents and administer proper discipline and lock‑up orders.

• Run and monitor daily operations for staff, including scheduling, call‑ins, checking jail logs and RMS reports, touring housing units and segregation areas, and performing wellness checks on residents.
• Perform security duties such as shakedowns, dealing with non‑compliant residents, medical emergencies, PREA complaints, use of force reporting, and reviewing cameras for incidents or injuries onsite.

Full‑time, hourly position. Hourly wage range: $37.34 – $45.00 per hour.
