We’re hiring, join our team! Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center has an immediate opening for an Assistant Toddler Teacher in our Pink Piggies classroom at our Clarkston, MI campus. Position Detail- Status:
Regular, full-time - Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm - Pay range $14-$18/hour depending on education and experience

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience as a Private Nanny or with Toddlers in the classroom setting (highly desirable)
- Reliable transportation
- Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting
- Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus
- Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will collaborate with and support the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning using the High Scope curriculum.
- Ensures overall safety of children
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
- Implement High Scope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend company/school meetings
- Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
- Physically able to lift 15 pounds
