Volunteer Position
Residential Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients at home or in a long‑term care facility. Companionship may include reading and talking to a patient, writing letters, sharing a patient’s personal story, or giving respite to caregivers.
Responsibilities- Visit patients at home or in long‑term care facilities.
- Provide companionship through reading, talking, writing letters, and sharing stories.
- Offer respite and support to caregivers.
Knowing that they are not alone, having the chance to see a new face and share their stories, and giving caregivers the opportunity to take brief breaks and return refreshed. Patients also gain something to look forward to during their care journey.
