CNC Lathe Operator--PRPRA

BMT Aerospace, USA is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist, who can independently set up and operate CNC lathes to precise tolerances and specifications.

This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to produce parts of varying complexity.
• Interpret computer-generated setup sheets and blueprints to determine proper tooling, fixtures, feeds etc
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges) to inspect and verify part dimensions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor tool wear: replace tools, and inserts as needed.
• Make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
• Cross-train on various machines and processes to support team flexibility.
• Perform other duties

• 4-5 years of experience in precision CNC machining
• Familiar with Fanuc Oi, Fanuc 21i, Haas, and Okuma controls is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work overtime hours
• Strong understanding of CNC programming
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
