Operate CNC lathes for short runs to produce between 40-60 parts.;
Perform 1-5 setups daily by selecting appropriate cutting tools, installing soft jaws and boring them true, loading collets, setting chuck pressure, and loading/editing programs.;
Edit and proofread CNC programs (G&M code).;
Interpret computer-generated setup sheets and blueprints to determine proper tooling, fixtures, feeds, speeds, and machining sequences.;
Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
