General Shop Labor is a detail-oriented professionals with the ability to multitask and manage many inventory items at once, while maintaining constant communication with all employees along the warehouse. An Entry-level Hydraulic Painter is responsible for painting heavy machinery including pumps, valves, and motors.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Taping off and prepping surfaces prior to paint.
• Fix runs, body cracks & other imperfections during or after the painting process.
• Safely move large sub-assemblies in and out of paint booth.
• Follow safety guidelines when operating machinery & working in the paint area and throughout the manufacturing floor.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the painting trade, such as mixing & spray equipment.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to beginning the painting process.
• Can multitask and transition into other jobs or tasks on the floor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all Fluidyne Fluid Power employee conduct and policies contained in the Employee Handbook.

• High School Graduate or equivalent

• Ability to Read Work Orders & Routing Slips.
• Forklift Operation Or Experience Required.
• Component & Assembly Experience Preferred.
• Painting Experience Preferred.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment

• Regularly required to stand, twist, bend, crouch, lift, carry and read
• Must be able to pass criminal background check, pre-placement health appraisal, and drug screening.
• Work environment regularly exposes employee to a moderate noise level (exhaust fans and hand tools).
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and ability to stand 8-10 hours daily.
