Step into a role where your leadership turns complex injection molding schedules into smooth, safe, and reliable production. As our Thermoplastic Molding Area Supervisor, you will guide a large, diverse team; partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials; and accelerate continuous improvement using Lean and Servant Leadership principles.

Your mission

Lead the floor with purpose—manage resources, stabilize processes, and coach people to do their best work. When an issue appears, you’ll dig into root causes, align stakeholders, and implement corrective actions that stick.

Impact you will make
  • Supervise daily production, optimizing manpower, materials, methods, and equipment to meet schedule, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Inspire teamwork and accountability through Servant Leadership; connect shifts and departments to share knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, objectives, and operational standards.
  • Lead workforce planning, staffing, training, and ongoing employee development.
  • Advance a safety-first culture—comply with OSHA, enforce safety policies, and verify PPE usage.
  • Validate mold changes, first-piece approvals, last-shot documentation, production reporting, process verifications, training records, and standardized work.
  • Sustain 5S to keep areas safe, clean, and organized.
  • Measure and act on KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, scrap, and attendance; close performance gaps.
  • Lead Lean initiatives to remove waste and improve throughput and stability.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Engineering to resolve issues and protect uptime.
  • Coach performance and attendance; uphold quality and company expectations.
  • Contribute to plant-wide targets in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
What you bring
  • 5+ years of leadership in fast-paced manufacturing (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; adept at handling multiple priorities.
  • Experience leading teams of 50+ with Team Leader support.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented collaborator across functions.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (IQMS preferred).
  • Thermoplastic injection molding background.
  • Knowledge of molding machinery, tooling, plastics, automation, and robotics.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability.
