Press Operator

Our client in Fraser, MI is seeking dependable and motivated Press Operators / Machine Operators to join their growing manufacturing team.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a direct employee after 90 days
, based on attendance and performance.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $15.00/hour
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $15.25/hour
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | $15.40/hour

Employees who meet the perfect attendance requirements are eligible for a separate $40 bonus check each week
.

Overtime opportunities are also available based on production needs.

This position offers the opportunity to be hired directly by our client after approximately 90 days
, based on performance and attendance.

Once converted to a direct employee, team members become eligible for company-paid benefits after their first 60 days of direct employment

As a Press Operator, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing and inspecting plastic components.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate and monitor production and injection molding equipment.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Review the Operator Display Board for work instructions and Quality Alerts before beginning production.
• Trim excess material or flash from finished parts.
• Sort, inspect, package, and label completed products.
• Produce and assemble sub-assemblies for production lines.
• Connect various parts and components as required.
• Load conveyors, stock parts, and handle production materials.
• Complete required testing, production paperwork, quality records, and documentation.
• Apply internal and external labels correctly.
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA-required safety standards.
• Assist team members with additional production duties as needed.

• Previous injection molding, machine operating, press operating, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
  .
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and assist in other areas as needed.

Pay: $15.00–$15.40/hour, depending on shift
