The Quality Systems Manager coordinates the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents for certifications such as AS9100, ISO, and NIST. Ensures compliance documents satisfy federal, state, and local government requirements.

- Ensure compliance documents satisfy federal, state, and local government requirements.
- Assist in implementation and monitoring of controls, compliance procedures, and operational processes across certification areas.
- Train employees on compliance expectations, requirements, and procedures during orientation and as needed.
- Issue communications to employees about new rules, revisions, and periodic reminders.
- Ensure company processes and employees adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer compliance policy: control revisions, releases, and ensure current revisions are accessible.
- Keep abreast of industry standards, regulatory news impacting the company.
- Oversee records of noncompliance reports and investigations, evaluate records and policies.
- Plan and perform audits of processes and documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory and company needs.
- Provide regular reports to executive management on audit results, violations, investigation status, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations.
- Stay current with literature and agency requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and collaborate with quality team to implement certification processes and meet conformance deadlines.
- Ensure all compliance documentation and procedures are timely and accurate.
- Serve as point of contact and knowledge expert for area of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience and specialized training or certification.
- 2–4 years of prior quality control/quality assurance experience, ideally including implementation of AS9100, ISO, and/or NIST certification programs.
- Prior hands‑on CNC machining background desirable or general knowledge of machining concepts.
- Multi‑industry experience (e.g., aerospace, automotive, military, medical device) a plus.
- Meticulous work habits, detail‑oriented, thorough understanding of QA procedures and processes.
- Excellent reading comprehension, strong research skills, above‑average written and verbal communication, and active listening.
