Quality Technician
Quality Technician position in Fraser starting at $20/hr. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.
Our client produces interior components for vehicles, such as dashboards, door panels, instrument panels and center consoles for major automakers.

As a member of the Plant Quality department, the Plant Quality Technician participates in day-to-day shop floor and laboratory activities to the production floor and promote continuous improvement of current processes.
- Train operators on quality systems
- Evaluate and validate Check-Do-Check and final inspection performed by operators, such as visual inspections (poke yoke – red rabbit), functional tests, SPC checks, etc.
- Perform regular Safety & Regulatory (S&R) mandatory rules and 8 Quality Basics (8QB) assessments on the production line and report results to the Quality Engineers
- Support other quality-related functions including incoming inspection (SQA), quality system (QSE), Safety & Regulatory (S&R) and program quality (PQL) Support internal and external quality audits as needed
Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in the Automotive industry preferred with minimum 3 years in a Quality function Experience conducting audits, Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Inspector, or in a similar quality-focused role.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of quality standards and methods (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.)
- Trained in traditional measurement tools (e.g. caliper, micrometer, dial gages, etc.), error-proofing devices, and function testers
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
