Position Summary

Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk job at VAIR CORPORATION. Frederick, MD.

Pay: $28.00 per hour ($56,560 annually) starting.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm or 5:00 pm, no layoffs, no shift cuts, no nights, no weekends.

After completion of the reconstructive coding task (≈9 months) you will receive an annual increase to $61,560 and your focus will shift to broader accounting duties.

• Code chart of accounts entries into Quicken checkbook for missing data linked to existing P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Complete the reconstructive coding task over approximately nine months.
• Paper packet building and processing of Accounts Payable; use a fast system for Accounts Receivable; file own work; no payroll, no telephone duties, no interactions with other departments.
• Provide input and decision‑making on accounting systems and processes employed.
• Work on premises and be able to start promptly.

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Good Excel navigation skills for multiple credit‑card payable accounts.
• Experience with Quicken report highly helpful.
• Ability to work independently on premises and start promptly.

• Annual salary increase to $61,560 upon completion of the coding task.
• 10 days prorated paid vacation per year and 8 paid holidays.
