Carey International, a long-time leader in chauffeured transportation, is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team for the long haul.
This is a full-time role reporting directly to our Corporate Controller.
What You'll Do:- Support the monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management review
- Help reconcile chauffeur and affiliate/partner settlements and fleet-related costs
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and support cash flow reporting
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and process improvements across the accounting function
- At least 2 years of professional accounting experience
- Based in Maryland
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Comfortable with Excel and standard accounting software
- CPA preferred, but not required
