Director of Finance And Accounting

The Role

This is the top finance seat, reporting directly to the Executive Director, with regular presentations to the board and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, GL, and financial reporting
• Manage deferred revenue and long-term liability schedules
• Oversee debt service and related reporting
• Prepare and present the annual operating budget
• Coordinate regulatory/cost reporting tied to reimbursement programs
• Maintain internal controls and lead annual audit
• Supervise a small accounting team
• Oversee payroll tax filings and coordinate income tax returns

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting management or leadership experience
• Healthcare or senior living industry background strongly preferred
• Comfortable presenting to a board or committee
• CPA and/or Master's degree preferred, not required
