The position supports the Registration and Records (R&R) functions for the College and the operations of the R&R team. The Registration and Records Associate supports the Assistant Registrar as the primary contact for students, parents, staff, and other stakeholders relating to registration processes and educational records for undergraduate (UGRD) classes and processes. The role assists students with registration for UGRD classes and student record requests.
This position requires high attention to detail and accuracy and provides customer support services to the public on behalf of the department with consideration for a diverse, multicultural workplace.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling inquiries related to UGRD programs, class offerings, prerequisites, and enrollment procedures.
- Monitor and manage Registration and Records email accounts, responding promptly and redirecting communications as necessary.
- Assist students in navigating the online registration system (People Soft) and enrollment platforms (Navigate and Slate), including entering student permissions in People Soft for class enrollments.
- Process unofficial transcript requests and student profile updates, including change of name and change of address requests.
- Ensure accuracy in student records, registration, and demographic information updates within People Soft, adhering to academic policies, administrative procedures, and FERPA regulations.
- Offer guidance to students on completing Registration and Records forms and communicate any errors or scheduling inconsistencies to relevant staff members.
- Maintain comprehensive record-keeping by scanning and linking required documents into Perceptive Content daily.
- Foster collaboration with campus offices to support student success and retention and assist with data changes such as tuition rate adjustments.
- Provide inclusive customer support to faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders, prioritizing open and timely communication.
- Demonstrate autonomy, discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in all tasks, working effectively with minimal supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, some Mondays/Thursdays until 6pm and periodic Saturdays
