Position: Service Contract Scheduler

Service Contract Scheduler – Columbia Office

ARK Systems is looking for a Service Contract Scheduler for our Columbia office.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes calls and tickets for testing, service/repairs internally and from customers.
  • Assists in the review of testing certification reports for deficiencies found during routine testing.
  • Schedules and coordinates with assigned testing staff and service dispatch for technicians to complete approved work.
  • Coordinates with third‑party vendors when necessary to acquire applicable pricing, testing and technical assistance.
  • Addresses customer concerns and complaints and resolves matters in the best interest of the customer and the company.
  • Opens and closes work orders, updates customer notes, etc.
  • Assists with communications with field staff as needed.
  • Assists with contracts and testing invoicing.
  • Customer support and satisfaction liaison.
  • Possesses the ability to work harmoniously within Contracts and service area and provide administrative customer support functions of all types and levels.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities

Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Must have a positive and respectful attitude and maintain good working relationships with management staff and employees.

Business school, Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge is required.

Education and Experience

Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years related experience.

Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work.

Good oral/written communication skills are necessary. Must be able to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Should be comfortable answering a phone and making calls for the entirety of shift.

Physical Requirements

Working in an office environment with a computer and other business technology.
