Position

Ops Analyst at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The Program Analyst will primarily support the activities of PMA-280's Advanced Concepts & Technologies IPT Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    Program Office internal and external communications (other IPTs and Ops/PMA EA).
  • Stakeholder Interaction and Coordination:
    Engage with stakeholders and coordinate efforts.
  • Security logistics, Visit Requests, and Travel arrangements.
  • Meeting Agenda, RFIs, RFAs, Minutes, and Action Item Tracking/Resolution.
  • Data Call / Request for Information (RFI) / Questions for the Record (QFR).
  • Internal PEO data calls.
  • External data calls (Congressional, Senate, etc.).
  • Maintain database organization, file management, data disposition.
  • Maintain IPT Calendar and Schedules.
  • Meetings:
    Coordinate logistics, reservations, speakers, notes, and gather inputs for weekly and standup meetings; document meeting minutes and action items; coordinate presentations with Level I IPTs, Functional Leads Scheduler, RIO Manager, and working groups; coordinate and host meetings as required; liaison with stakeholders or key representatives.
  • IPT Organization Chart:
    Maintain and update periodically.
Qualifications
  • Required

    Education:

    BS or BA degree in a business, management or an engineering management discipline. Allowable substitution: an AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; or an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
  • Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Required Experience: Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be at least two (2) years of NAVAIR experience related to operations support.
  • Security Clearance: Must hold or maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Hybrid Work: This position may allow for hybrid work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.

  • Compensation for this role ranges from $78,433.26 to $ (annualized USD), depending on education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. This range is part of the total compensation package.
