POSITION SUMMARY:

The Health Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for the overall management, administration, and coordination of every enrolled and pending child and family’s Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) in order to ensure compliance with all federal Head Start Performance Standards. In collaboration with the Senior Director, Head Start Services, the ERSEA Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing ongoing training and support for recruitment and enrollment efforts.

This role is responsible for tracking the recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance. In coordination with the Directors of Family Services, this role will provide verification of eligibility for each Y in Central Maryland Head Start participant in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City. This role will help to inform the design of local community activities, fairs and councils to strengthen and increase the agency’s outreach and recruitment efforts.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with local community agencies and public school community workers.
