Reporting to the Chief Foresight and Decision Support Officer (CFDSO) within the Center for Strategic Innovation and Foresight, the Director provides leadership for the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of systems and processes that facilitate and document evidence-informed decision-making, organizational learning, and continuous improvement.
Working collaboratively with leaders across the College, the Director coordinates organizational assessment and accreditation activities, facilitates implementation of the College’s Continuous Improvement Model (CIM), and supports the integration of assessment, planning, and evidence into institutional decision-making. In partnership with the CFDSO, the Director helps integrate foresight-informed perspectives into assessment, planning, and improvement processes to strengthen the College’s future readiness, strategic agility, and long-term impact.
This individual must possess the ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace.

The following are the functions essential to performing this job:
- Lead the development, implementation, and documentation of organizational assessment processes that leverage the use of data to support continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness.
- Coordinate the College’s Continuous Improvement Model, supporting divisions, units, and teams in establishing goals, strategies, action plans, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate institutional divisions and departments in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and use of evidence to evaluate performance, inform decision-making, and improve institutional outcomes.
- Collaborate with institutional leaders to develop, monitor, and communicate measures of organizational performance and strategic progress.
- Chair the Institutional Accreditation Committee.
- Coordinate institutional accreditation activities, including evidence collection, compliance monitoring, reporting, and accreditation timelines.
- Lead preparation of accreditation reports, monitoring reports, substantive change requests, and related documentation.
- Ensure alignment among accreditation requirements, assessment activities, planning processes, and institutional priorities.
- Monitor emerging accreditation standards and advise institutional leaders regarding implications and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with the CFDSO to align assessment, planning, budgeting, accreditation, and continuous improvement processes.
- Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that communicate organizational performance and support evidence-informed decision-making.
- Translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations that inform planning, resource allocation, and institutional priorities.
- Support strategic planning, governance, and leadership processes through analysis, facilitation, consultation, and reporting.
- Design and deliver professional development related to organizational assessment, continuous improvement, accreditation, KPI development, and the effective use of evidence.
- Provide consultation and coaching to faculty, staff, and administrators regarding assessment planning, performance measurement, and improvement strategies.
- Promote a culture of inquiry, reflection, accountability, and evidence-informed decision-making across the College.
- Facilitate cross-divisional collaboration that strengthens organizational learning and continuous improvement.
