Project Manager

Roche Bros Inc. – Northern Virginia

Roche Bros Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing construction team. This is a hands-on field position responsible for overseeing multiple active projects, coordinating site operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with crews and inspectors, and can successfully manage scheduling, logistics, and field coordination across multiple job sites. This is not a remote position and requires daily travel to active project locations throughout Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive a company-provided truck daily between job sites to monitor project progress and readiness of upcoming work
  • Review retaining wall stakeouts and excavation progress to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Generate internal reports for scheduling, planning, and record keeping
  • Read and interpret construction plans, cutsheets, and field layouts
  • Attend weekly project meetings as a representative of Roche Bros Inc.
  • Maintain strong safety awareness and compliance on all active job sites
  • Coordinate with county inspectors before and after project completion to assist with final inspections and approvals
  • Coordinate fence installations and verify accurate sleeve placement where required
  • Manage truck maintenance and coordinate rental or spare vehicles when necessary
  • Create maps and directions for truck drivers and deliveries
  • Assist with delivery and coordination of construction materials to job sites

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and cutsheets
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer and reporting skills
  • Experience in construction, retaining walls, excavation, or site work preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail
