Job Description

Koors Contracting is a Baltimore-based commercial construction company specializing in interior construction and renovation projects throughout the Baltimore and DC Metro area. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our team and lead projects from start to finish with precision, professionalism, and excellence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in project planning, including scope review, schedule development, and subcontractor selection.
  • Help manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring contract compliance, scope alignment, and proper documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
  • Support change management, including logging and tracking change orders, gathering backup documentation, and assisting in negotiations.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules and coordinating updates with the field team.
  • Monitor procurement and delivery schedules to prevent project delays.
  • Participate in jobsite meetings, take meeting minutes, and track action items.
  • Support financial tracking by assisting with cost reporting, invoice approvals, and budget reconciliation.
  • Help ensure safety compliance by supporting site audits and tracking necessary documentation.
  • Assist in project closeout by ensuring all warranties, as‑builts, and final documentation are completed.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of construction experience, including time as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of contract documents, project schedules, and financial tracking.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate project challenges and assist in proactive solutions.
