Position OverviewARRO is seeking a Construction Observation / Resident Project Representative (RPR) to support construction projects through on‑site observation and reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Perform field observations
- Evaluate construction for conformance with plans and specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Collaborate with project managers and engineers
You will serve as ARRO’s on‑site representative, helping ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Observation & Reporting
- Observe construction activities for roadway, utility, and infrastructure projects
- Evaluate work for general compliance with plans and specifications
- Document progress and prepare field reports
- Communicate project updates and issues to internal teams
- Represent ARRO with contractors, clients, and the public
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to quality service
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of construction observation experience (road, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, or water)
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of construction practices, tools, and terminology
- Ability to read engineering plans and specifications
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Field‑based role on active construction sites
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
