Labor Journeyman

Overview

The Labor Journeyman performs basic housekeeping on a construction site.

• Perform setup and clean up tasks at the job site, including removal of construction debris.
• Navigate construction job site terrain.
• Clean and sanitize jobsite trailers.
• Assist with basic deliveries and material storage.
• Perform housekeeping interior and exterior of the project site.
• Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, as directed and planned by the Foreperson.
• Report all safety incidents and injuries to the Foreperson and Safety Leader.
• Coordinate any scope of work outside of the above listed tasks; such work shall be planned, documented, and approved by the Foreperson, Safety, and Management.

• Experience /
  
  Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED. Construction experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. OSHA 10-hour certification recommended. Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures; willingness to work in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations; ability to work in a team environment.

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
