• The Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager is a full-time, on-site position located in Frederick, CO.
• This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC projects from design through close-out.
• Daily responsibilities include assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation; supporting submittals, RFIs, and change orders; and coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• The role also involves reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking project progress, supporting field teams with technical information, and helping resolve issues that arise during construction.
• The Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager contributes to safety compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful project delivery.

• MUST HAVE INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE OF LARGE HVAC SYSTEMS
• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering skills with exposure to mechanical/HVAC or related building systems.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including experience with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge applicable to mechanical and HVAC systems integration.
• Relevant qualifications include proficiency with construction management software and MS Office, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Beneficial qualifications include experience with design-build delivery, understanding of safety regulations and building codes, and prior work in commercial or industrial construction environments.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
