Position: Dance Instructor and Choreographer – all styles

Leading Edge Academy of Dance is seeking passionate and talented Dance Instructors to join our team. If you have a deep passion for dance, teaching and a desire to inspire students of all ages, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that offers engaging, educational, and challenging classes.
  • Choreograph performances that showcase the talent and hard work of our students.
  • Proficient in one or more of the following dance styles: ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, acro, creative movement, and Zumba.
  • Managing a classroom to ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Work with competitive and recreational dancers, adapting to their various stages, levels, and abilities.
  • Active participation in team trainings and contribution to the studio values across all student touchpoints.
Qualifications
  • A college degree in dance and/or equivalent teaching experience in a dance studio environment.
  • Experience in classroom management and curriculum development.
  • Experience teaching diverse styles of dance.
  • Ability to work with dancers of all ages, levels, and skills.
  • A team player who values collaboration and contributing to a dynamic studio environment.
