The Front Desk Staff is the first point of contact for members and visitors of One
50

Fitness. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a welcoming environment, managing member check-ins, answering inquiries, and ensuring that the front desk area is organized and efficient.
This is a part-time position
.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    :
    Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide assistance, answer questions, and address any concerns.
  • Membership Management
    :
    Check in members, update account information, and process membership sales.
  • Administrative Support
    :
    Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for services such as personal training or group classes.
  • Facility Cleanliness and Organization
    :
    Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with keeping common areas tidy and presentable.
  • Point of Sale
    :
    Handle transactions related to merchandise, classes, or additional services.
  • Communication
    :
    Relay important announcements or information to members, including class schedules, special events, or promotions.
  • Problem Resolution
    :
    Address any member concerns or complaints, escalating them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
  • Security
    :
    Monitor the entrance to ensure only authorized individuals access the facility.
Requirements
  • Customer Service
    :
    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Organizational Skills
    :
    Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a neat work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency
    :
    Comfortable with computer systems, point-of-sale software, and general office equipment.
  • Professionalism
    :
    Maintain a positive, approachable attitude and adhere to the fitness center's dress code and policies.
  • Attention to Detail
    :
    Accurate data entry and attention to detail for membership accounts and payments.
  • Problem-Solving
    :
    Ability to address issues or conflicts calmly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk role, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.
  • Knowledge of fitness center operations, memberships, and programs is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical activities such as lifting small packages or supplies.
Work Schedule
  • Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.
