Kabinet Krafters is a custom cabinetry and closet design company. We design and build premium-quality kitchens, bathrooms, and closet systems that blend timeless craftsmanship with modern design. We’re seeking a talented Interior Designer based in Maryland (with preference given to candidates in the Eastern Shore / Ocean City or Baltimore areas) to join our team and help clients bring their dream spaces to life.
Position OverviewWe’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong background in kitchen, bath, and closet design. You’ll work directly with clients from concept through completion — developing layouts, selecting materials, creating 3D renderings, and ensuring each design aligns with both aesthetic and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design custom kitchens, bathrooms, and closets using CAD or design software (e.g., 2020 Design, Sketch Up, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.
- Create detailed plans, elevations, and renderings for approval and production.
- Specify cabinetry styles, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Work with the production team to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to installation.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of current design trends, materials, and innovations.
- Assist with client presentations, showroom consultations, and site visits as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in interior design, kitchen & bath design, or related field.
- Proficiency in 2020 Design, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, layouts, and installation requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Degree or certification in Interior Design or Kitchen & Bath Design preferred (NKBA certification a plus).
