maintain effective communication and positive interpersonal relations with students, parents, staff, and the community; guide learning toward school system goals by following board policies and procedures; assist administration and staff in achieving the school’s mission by applying ethical standards; strive to maintain and improve professional competencies; supervise students in various school settings; maintain appropriate records; monitor use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities;
ensure regular and predictable attendance.
qualifications include:
- associate’s degree or 60 college credits
- knowledge and use of culturally responsive practices
- knowledge of community resources

- ability to speak clearly and audibly in normal conversation, on the telephone, and to address groups
- ability to travel to school and other local locations, as well as state meetings
