Job DescriptionPart‑Time Contract Job or Paid Internship – Onsite Teacher – Fall 2026.
Compensation$50–$85 per single class shift, additional for multi‑class shifts (2.5–5 hour shifts).
About UsCyber Teck Academy offers after‑school and summer camp services focusing on computer science and game design for students in grades 1–7. We partner with hundreds of schools in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

LocationsTeach technology classes at schools in one or more of the following VA/MD/DC counties or cities:
- Loudoun
- Fairfax
- Prince William
- Washington DC
- Montgomery
- Howard
- Frederick
Training starts August 2026. Work follows thereafter.
Virginia LocationsFairfax: 1:30 pm–5:30 pm, Prince William: 1:00 pm–5:00 pm, each shift ~3.5 hours. Saturday classes: 8:15 am–11 am or 9:45 am–12 pm US EST.
Maryland LocationsMontgomery County: 2:45 pm–6:45 pm. Howard County: 1:30 pm–5:30 pm. Preference for candidates who can work three or more days a week.
DC Location4001 Calvert St NW, Washington, DC. Must be available Wednesdays and Thursdays. Hourly schedule: 2 pm–6 pm. Start: week of Feb 9 – May; paid training before that.
Required VehicleMust have own vehicle to transport company laptops and equipment.
Duties- Pick up equipment from local facility and travel to assigned school.
- Show up on time and be responsible for children.
- Set up laptops and related equipment for 8–12 children.
- Teach Minecraft programming, game design, animation, and/or Lego robotics classes.
- Ensure students leave safely with appropriate parents or staff.
- Familiar with video or computer games.
- Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years old.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Can work well independently.
- Must pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
- Basic programming, Minecraft, Lego robotics, or 3D modeling experience (preferred but not required).
- Child‑care, teaching, or tutoring experience (preferred but not required).
This is a paid internship or part‑time seasonal contract position. Paid training will be available for new employees during the first month of each season.
