Adjunct Faculty - Social Science and Policy Studies
Location:
Worcester, Massachusetts

The Social Science & Policy Studies department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes in each of our six programs. Positions will be filled on an as needed basis, and start dates will vary by course and semester.
- Economic Science
- International Development
- Environmental and Sustainability Studies
- Learning Sciences & Technologies
- Psychological Science
- Society, Technology and Policy
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the six programs.
- Develop and propose new course topics as required.
- Work with department leaders to design innovative and cutting‑edge courses.
- Provide high‑quality instruction to outstanding students.
- Advanced degree in a related discipline.
- Significant practical experience in the relevant area.
- Successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience.
- Enthusiastic, dynamic, and willing to contribute to an expanding course load.
$6,000 per course.
