Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for the part‑time position of Adjunct Teaching Faculty. The Aerospace Engineering Department has part‑time adjunct faculty positions to teach day and/or evening classes. Positions are created to provide an available applicant pool for the department and will be filled on an as‑needed basis. Start dates will vary by course and term. Applications will remain in the pool until the posting closes.

As an Adjunct Teaching Faculty member you will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses with various options for on‑campus and online delivery. All courses listed in the WPI undergraduate and graduate catalog under the Aerospace Engineering curriculum are of interest (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). Applicants should specifically identify which courses would be the best fit for their expertise.

• Teach from an established course syllabus, adding personal expertise and experience
• Conduct office hours
• Grade course assessments
• Provide students with timely feedback
• Provide materials used in course evaluations

• Hold an advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Have prior experience as an instructor or teaching assistant at the college level
• Relevant industry experience is also valued

$7,000 per course
