Golf and Tennis-Afterschool Coaches in Howard County; Part Time

The role involves teaching golf or tennis to children during after‑school, evening, and weekend sessions on school campuses, golf courses, and recreation centers.

• Must be energetic, fun, dynamic, patient and attentive
• Must have a passion for working with children
• Arrive early and be prepared in advance to teach the class
• Inspire a love of movement in an organized, structured, and fun manner
• Provide individual and group instruction to children
• Maintain up to date information on classes
• Communicate with Program Director
• Available to work mainly evenings (3:00‑8:00pm) and weekends (times can vary)
• Prior experience working in golf or tennis and with children preferred
• CPR/First Certified (certification can be provided if needed)
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and willing to travel to get to class locations around Howard County, MD
• Must pass a background check

• TGA of Howard County will provide training on the curriculum and programming
• Pay Scale ($15.00‑$20.00) per hour starting depending on qualifications
