Adjunct Faculty - Physics
Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for a Physics adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.
A Master's degree in Physics or eighteen graduate semester hours in Physics is required. The ability to use instructional technology is required. Occupational experience in the field. Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools. College level teaching experience, online experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
