Engineer, Electrical Engineering

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Engineer
, to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
. This position is contingent upon award.

• Plans and administer environmental, operational, or performance tests on aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, general industrial, experimental, automotive equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, controls, and systems, and other products and systems.
• Provides comprehensive test and evaluation (T&E) support, including developmental testing, formal qualification tests, flight tests, operational tests, field integration tests, informal tests, and demonstrations.
• Develops, documents, and executes comprehensive test strategies, plans, procedures, and cases to verify system functionality and confirm that all technical and operational requirements are met.
• Supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency, repeatability, and coverage of the testing process.
• Analyzes test results, identifies and documents system defects, and provides detailed test reports, metrics, and technical recommendations to project stakeholders to inform decision‑making.

• Detail‑oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• At least eight (8) years of related experience required.
• An additional seven (7) years may substitute for the degree requirement.

Less than 10 % travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to commercial and/or government offices, test and integration laboratories, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation proving grounds.

This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside normal core hours.
