E-Logic is hiring a highly experienced Risk Management Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Safety Specialist to support the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) / Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland
. This role provides expert-level support to the Safety and Occupational Health Program
, focusing on high-risk test operations involving automotive and weapons/ammunition systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Safety and Occupational Health Program
    .
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across test operations.
  • Perform incident investigations and root cause analysis for safety events.
  • Develop and deliver safety training, briefings, and hazard awareness sessions
    .
  • Evaluate test range and operational procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Support risk mitigation planning for automotive, weapons, and ammunition testing environments
    .
  • Collaborate with engineers, test personnel, and leadership to ensure safe execution of test missions.
  • Provide expert recommendations to reduce operational risk and improve safety performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in test operations or safety at a Major Range and Test Facility
    .
  • Certified to conduct OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training
    .
  • Extensive experience in automotive testing and/or weapons and ammunition testing environments
    .
  • Strong expertise in risk management, safety analysis, and incident investigation
    .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to brief senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to operate in high-risk government test environments.
