Senior COTS Integrator

Overview

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life‑cycle support for enterprise corporate applications across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.

• Build performance‑monitoring solutions for systems using Jenkins automated execution architecture.
• Leverage Jenkins for automated performance checks.
• Instrument environments to capture performance metrics and build software that uses REST APIs to automate capture.
• Store metrics using Elastic stack and develop visualizations.
• Integrate open source and COTS products in a secure environment with PKI‑based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.

• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and APM.
• Installing, updating, and maintaining Elastic Stack environments.
• Creating and modifying Logstash pipelines and Kibana visualizations.
• Instrumenting systems with Elastic Agent and Elastic APM Agent.
• Experience with Open Telemetry (OTEL) and Open Telemetry Protocol (OTLP).
• Experience with Python and/or Vega programming.
• Proficient with UNIX commands.
• Proficient with Windows.
• Experience with Micro Focus Business Service Management suite (Site Scope, OMi).
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Experience with NiFi.
• Experience with Jenkins, Selenium, Ansible or Terraform.
• System administration background.
